American tourists are held hostage by indigenous people in Amazon

British and American tourists are among 70 adults and children being held hostage by an indigenous group in the Amazon rainforest in Peru in what can be considered a kidnapping.

The detained tourists include citizens of the United States, Spain, France, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, according to reports.
